MANAGEMENT at super division side Zanaco Football club has sent their head coach Chris Kaunda on administrative leave.
Club General Manager Marlon Kananda, who announced in a statement, said the move to place Mr Kaunda on forced administrative wing follows a string of poor results that club suffered recently.
The Super division side was thrashed by Buildcon 4 -0 on Tuesday after a 2-1 loss to bottom-placed Kitwe United last Saturday.
The two defeats have dented Zanaco’s hopes and chances of playing continental football.
Zanaco Head Coach Chris Kaunda will not be in charge of the team for the last four games of the season” read the press statement.
Team manager Robin Munsaka has been appointed on an interim basis and will take charge of Zanaco’s remaining league fixtures against Prison Leopards and a home fixture against Red Arrows.
