MULTICHOICE EXPANDS ITS CHANNEL BOUQUET

MultiChoice Zambia has announced the expansion of its channel bouquet through the addition of a local news channel.

Prime TV, a Zambian news channel, will be available on all DStv Channel packages starting today, 30th September 2021.

Company Managing Director Leah Kooma said: “We are excited to announce that Prime TV is now going to be available to DStv customers in Zambia.

“The addition of this new channel is in line with our mission to make great entertainment more accessible. The channel will add to the value we offer our customers by giving them access to more local and international content”.

And Prime TV Managing Director Gerald Shawa promised the viewers of more educative, entertaining and informative content as the Television station rejoins the DStv platforms.

“We thank MultiChoice for adding the TV station back on Channel 273,” said Mr Shawa.

Prime TV will be available on DStv Channel 273 to customers on DStv Premium, DStv Compact Plus, DStv Compact, DStv Family and DStv Access packages.

Prime TV joins eight other local channels on the DStv platform, after two new 24-hour TV channels Power TV and KBN TV, were launched in August as part of MultiChoice’s hyperlocal strategy which aims to continue providing quality and affordable local entertainment to customers.
