IN A bid to continue offering affordable and easily accessible products and services to customers across the Country, Airtel Zambia has launched an additional seven new shops bringing the total number of stores to 35 across the country.
Airtel’s Sales and Distribution Director Andrew Chuma said it was always an exciting time to make reality what customers ask for.
Mr. Chuma said with the onset of the pandemic many customers were eager to get connected electronically to their loved ones as well as use their phones to pay for many goods and services hence the need to have easily accessible customer service points.
“We are living in very unusual times and many customers want to be connected to their loved ones using mobile connectivity. It is therefore important for us in the telecommunication sector to help customers access these facilities easily and the opening up of another 7 shops helps in bringing these products and services closer to the people.
“Our goal is to complement Government’s efforts in realising the National 2030 Vision to enable all Zambians have universal access and usage of a broad range of quality and affordable financial products and services such as the Airtel Money services,” Mr Chuma said.
The new outlets are in five of the 10 provinces which include two shops in North Western Province, another two on the Copperbelt, and one each in Central, Luapula and Northern provinces.
